When I just don’t have time to make a real fancy mask, but I still want my skin to reap the benefits from one, this is the mask I turn to. It’s so easy, and not to mention it smells absolutely delicious. If you are constantly in a rush and don’t have much time to make a face mask, this one is for you.
Honey has many, many benefits for you skin and I use it in almost every face mask I make. You reap way more benefits if it’s organic, raw honey. I’m hoping to get Manuka soon and try it because I’ve heard it’s even better. It’s great for blemishes because it’s antibacterial, and reduces inflammation, and it also has phenomenal moisturizing properties. It’s abundant in antioxidants and rejuvenates your skin. Cinnamon promotes healthy blood flow to your face and visibly plumps your skin, it also helps with acne by bringing oxygen to the skins surface. Seriously, these two ingredients should be married.
Here’s how you make it! Be sure to get tie your hair back so there are no fly-aways! It’s not fun trying to get this sticky mask out of your hair!
1. Add about two tablespoons of raw, organic honey to a small bowl (more if you want more than one days worth)
2. Add a few shakes of cinnamon onto the honey. You don’t need a lot.
3. Mix it all together!
4. Applied to a damp, freshly cleansed face and let it sit for 20-30 minutes. Then rinse off with warm water, pat skin dry and follow up with your favorite moisturizer.
This mask doesn’t dry down, so you could leave it on as long as you want. However, sometimes cinnamon can be a bit of an irritant depending on how sensitive your face is. If you find that your face is getting too red or feeling too tingly, rinse it off early. Your face will get a little red no matter how sensitive it is because the cinnamon is bringing the blood flow to your face. This mask has continually helped my skin since I’ve been using it, and I love how my skin looks and feels after! It’s so soft! This mask is so simple, but yet packs an amazing punch.
Go and see how this combination can help your skin! Even you girls who don’t think they have time for a mask, treat yourself! I promise you’ll love how your skin feels!
Love,
Meg

It’s so simple but so effective! I hope your skin loves it! :]
One question- is it sticky/messy? I always imagined it would be
It is definitely sticky, but if you wear a headband than it should be fine! Don’t put on a ton though because it can drip! But it’s really not too messy, and it’s worth the extra stickiness :]
I am using This mask for years, and it is really great. Great post
