Last call for spring

Schools out for summer! Well, not really. I still have summer classes. But I’m sure as hell not letting that keep me from enjoying my summer. I’m heading out with my ladies tonight and I wanted my look to be as sizzling as the temperature outside. I hope you’re all enjoying your night as well! I am still loving the Vice Palette by Urban Decay, it’s absolutely perfect for summer! You can bet I’ll be showcasing it many times this summer. Here are the products that I used! Continue reading

Smokin’ hot.

Urban Decay Smoked Eye Shadow Palette

What Sephora says: “An Urban Decay take on the always-popular smoky eye, this 10-shadow palette includes traditional black and gray, as well as modern-colored hues for smoky eyes. Each velvety shade features Urban Decay’s new shadow formula and proprietary Pigment Infusion System™, allowing infinite depth to your eye looks, whether you commit to all-out nighttime smoky or just apply a hint of sultry smudgy color for daytime.”

Smokes and I are not friends, we’re more like casual acquaintances. Tell me to do a black smokey eye and I will run in the other direction! Let’s just say it’s not my thing, but for the girls who love rocking those bedroom eyes, you need this in your life. These shades will knock your socks off, and there’s a good possibility they’ll also knock the rest of your clothes off as well.  Continue reading

Candy coated

my Easter candy kick has inspired even my recent makeup selections

Happy almost Easter everyone! I made a couple purchases at Sephora yesterday that I am so excited to show off. Stila released a new liner for spring that is exactly the color I have been searching for the past year. I swear, it’s “the one”. Bonus, it’s waterproof, so I’m anxious to try it out poolside. So what is this magical new color? It’s the smudge stick waterproof eyeliner in Turquoise. Unlike many turquoise liners that tend to be really bright and almost more cerulean, this one is a slightly pale pastel perfect for Easter. Now, you know I’m ecstatic for this color, so what could possibly blow my mind even more in one swatch fest? Thank you Easter-Bunny-Magic-Man-Of-My-Life!! Sephora has four shades of the YSL Rouge Volupte Shine available for a limited time in our blessed Boise store. I took one look at the color Corail in Touch and I swear I died and was resurrected right there at the front of the store. So here’s my spring look take two, a more vibrant, colorful look. Are you a good witch or a bad witch?

Take 1024

I came back home from university for the long weekend, and it feels so good to be home! Both Chantell and I are heading out dancing tonight, and we thought we’d do a post together! We’ll post products in a bit, we’re running late! I hope you’re all having a wonderful night! Continue reading

Nearly Naked.

Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup in shade 2.0

What Sephora says: “A weightless and virtually invisible liquid foundation that creates a luminous, demi-matte finish. This formula helps skin achieve a natural, illuminated and bright finish— like the beautiful skin you were born with. Naked Skin is formulated with light-diffusing spheres, transforming you to look professionally retouched. Buildable coverage allows women to customize their look. Available in a meticulously calibrated range of shades, Urban Decay’s precise shade numbering system does poetic justice to both warm tones (ending in “.0”) and cool skin tones (ending in “.5”). The finish is matte, never flat, and luminous, but not shiny.”

hate shopping for foundations. Absolutely loathe it. I wasn’t even keen on trying this one out considering I usually break out from even the simplest ingredients, but the SA at Sephora convinced me just to go for it. So I brought home a sample and ended up buying it two days later. What convinced me to make such a rash decision? The fact that this foundation literally sank into my skin and made it look like I was almost wearing nothing. How’s that for naked skin? Continue reading

EOTN (Eye Of The Night)

Hey everyone! I’m going out tonight with my boyfriend and I wanted to post what I’m wearing on my eyes tonight! It’s one of my go-to looks, and it’s really not hard to do. The combination of bronzes and warm browns make this smoky eye extremely wearable and not nearly as stark as a black smokey eye. I hope you guys are having a wonderful Saturday night whether you’re staying in or going out! Please excuse my messy brows. I’m in the process of growing them out and I’m trying not to touch them with tweezers until they do. That’s what got my eyebrows into the mess in the first place! Continue reading
